Prime Minister Narender Modi of India will complete six months at the end of November, 2014. With 4 years and 6 months to go, how has the new PM been for India so far?

The answer, according to many would be, "he has been just the medication the country needed." While many political analyzers think, "its just to soon to tell." PM Modi has visited many foreign countries so far, including, Figi, Nepal, U.S, Brazil, and Bhutan. He has clearly strengthened Indo-Nepalese ties by giving an outstanding speech to the Nepalese parliament, where he clearly supported Nepal's step towards a better democracy. Additionally, Modi's invited American President Obama to be the Chief Guest at the Republic Day celebration in New Delhi shows the PM's effort to strengthen Indo-American ties (follow this story at ISA's website). Furthermore, the PM started the BRICS Bank during his visit to Brazil at the BRICS conference. BRICS stands for Brazil, India, China, Russia, and South Africa, which are the fastest growing economies of the world. During this visit the Prime Minister reinforced India's friendship with with Brazil, Russia, South Africa, and even China. The Prime Minister addressed the BRICS nations as India's greatest allies! An unprecedented move which will has already affected Asia and World politics itself. The PM has also made allies with Myanmar and continues to promote friendship between India and the many countries of Asia. Prime Minister Modi made it very clear in his speeches that he is looking towards Japan, and U.S. as key investors in India. He also stated,"India will look toward Syria for weapons." This shows the PM's motive of strengthening existing alliances and creating new ones to restore India as a key player in World politics. Additionally, his foreign policies seem to working great for the Republic of India. The Chinese President, Xi Jinping, visited the country recently and President Obama accepted Modi's invitation to become the first U.S. President to be Chief Guest at the Republic Day celebration in India.
Modi has also concentrated on domestic policies as well. His Safai Abhiyan is awe inspiring to many Indians and has seen participation. President Modi has clearly stated that he wants to clean India and it's rivers such as the Ganges. His policies do not end there. His ultimate goal is to help the common man. The Reform Movement started by Anna Hazare is clearly reaching its height under the new PM. However, it has only been six months. The country of India and world is watching how Modi will behave with Pakistan, which always been a ground where every Indian Prime Minister has been tested on. Modi also has the task of bringing tax reforms and education reforms. Additionally, Modi must prove to be effective in the field of Science, especially in this critical time in history which has been appropriately named the Asian Space Race. With India's Mars rover soon to land on the Red Planet and other countless fields of Science where India is excelling what will this new PM's policies be for the Scientific future of the country. There are still four and a half years left for Modi's reign to be completed. However, despite the challenges, the PM has already won the hearts of many. Will Modi be the Great which India has been looking for? Will he be the next Asoka or Akbar? Or will PM Modi just be another puppet or another Auraungzeb? Only the future holds the answer to those questions. But we can always speculate, so why don't you write your speculation in the comments bellow. Share with the world your thoughts! Jai Hind!
